Leading the Way in Faith & Service

Dr. Ronnie L. Clark
Reverend

Pastor Ronnie L. Clark Sr. is an inspirational, transformative, and compassionate leader with over 41 years of experience in ministry and 34 years of experience as a pastor. He is the father of four and is the loving husband of Angela Clark. Pastor Clark’s ministerial philosophy is built upon three biblical concepts: Reconciliation, Restoration, and Liberation. In his own words, this approach "requires you to serve the wholeness of humanity, not just its spirituality." A native of Quincy, FL, Rev. Clark is a graduate of James A. Shanks High School, Florida A&M University (B.S. Education), Payne Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry.)
Pastor Clark has a legacy of turning around underperforming churches and transforming oppressive communities. Rev. Dr. Clark's positions of service and accomplishment are too numerous to list, so I will list just a few. Dr. Clark currently serves as the Chair of the Florida Criminal Justice Collaborative, Chair of the Polk Ecumenical Action Council for Empowerment, 11th Episcopal District Social Action Director, A Member of the A.M.E. Council of Bishops Criminal Justice Taskforce, Trustee of Edward Waters University. At the 51st General Conference, Rev. Clark was a member of the Episcopal Committee and served as the Chairperson of the Judicial Committee of the Episcopal Committee. He is the proud pastor of Hurst Chapel A.M.E. Church in Winter Haven, FL, where he led the church in growth from a membership of 400 members to a membership of over 1200 members.
